Our Governors
Welcome from the Chair
On behalf of the governing body, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Sarum St Paul's Church of England Primary School.
Sarum St Paul's is a thriving and welcoming school, where children are encouraged to flourish academically, socially and spiritually.
We are proud to be an Ofsted Good school, with Outstanding recognised in Personal Development (2024), reflecting our commitment to providing an inclusive education where every child is known, valued and supported to achieve their very best.
Our Christian vision, Rooted in Love, Growing Together, is at the heart of everything we do. Inspired by St Paul's words in Ephesians, it shapes our relationships, decision-making and aspirations for every member of our school community. We warmly welcome families of all faiths and those of none, creating a community where everyone is treated with dignity, kindness and respect.
The governing body works closely with our Headteacher, Mrs Hannah Easthope, and the leadership team to provide strategic leadership and ensure the school continues to thrive. Our role is to support and challenge school leaders, helping to ensure that every child receives the highest quality education and care.
Our governors come from a range of backgrounds, including parents, the Church, staff and the wider community. Together, we bring a wealth of experience and expertise, united by a shared commitment to helping the school achieve the very best for its children.
As governors, we help shape the school's long-term vision and strategic direction. We oversee the school's finances, monitor educational standards, hold leaders to account for the quality of education and the wellbeing of pupils and staff, and ensure that our resources are used effectively to benefit all children.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated and talented staff team who work tirelessly to help every child flourish. They create an environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to develop a lifelong love of learning.
We are equally grateful for the support of our parents, carers and the wider school community. Whether volunteering in school, supporting educational visits, fundraising through Friends of Sarum St Paul's or encouraging learning at home, your partnership makes a tremendous difference to the life of our school.
I hope you enjoy exploring our website and learning more about our school and governing body. If you would like to find out more about our work or are interested in becoming involved in school governance in the future, please do get in touch.
